Also bought a set of these, but note its a silly imperial thread and 1/4" shank and havent yet got around to modifying. They dont fit either grinder as standard.

How many batteries do you already have knocking about which are of Chinese manufacture? Power tools, jump packs, powerbanks, phones etc.
It's the price they are made to, makita batteries may be made in china but I would trust them over the knock offs from the same country. Mine turned up today, not a tool for professional use (thermal cutout)but handy for cutting off in tight spots.
