I must be a superior being as I can control the climate ...................................................... in my car, it even has zones but I don’t think any are O zones
We live in a world driven by greed and consumerism, and climate change or not, something needs to change, before we are buried in rubbish and waste.
A third of the world is starving, a third is obese, we don’t need more food or more growth or more of anything, we just better governing and organisation.
I'm obese and starving, do I get a prize?
Greed, capitalism and consumerism are the most damaging things to the planet by far, last time I had a topic relating to that though i was branded a "yoghurt knitter".
Oh and Facebook....that's devastating the planet too.
One of my big concerns is that a lot of these green schemes actually do far more harm than good.
Biofuels are causing massive destruction of rainforest as are electric cars.
And yet people think they are helping.

Look at the destruction palm oil causes and that is just so we can shovel chocolate down our gullets.
United Biscuits who are behind McVities are committed to RSPO palm oil... what's wrong with that?Biscuits too. I recently looked at my packet of digestives only to find that they use palm oil. McVities are going to lose out now since I won't buy them again, or their Rich Teas, which do not use it.
Yes but we MUST recycle to meet EU targets - funny how our local councils are still pushing for this.we are 2021 and still uk exports waste to other countrys
Five ways to reduce your household waste – and stop it being shipped to poorer countries
UK still ships huge amounts of plastic waste to places like Vietnam, Malaysia and Pakistan.theconversation.com
Is that right? I've always been good with recycling glass as I thought it was remelted into brown glass...Even glass just gets crushed for sand blasting media. And to think of all the poor old dears who carefully rinse out their jam jars thinking they are going to be reused
I used to work for Pilkington and in my current job we do quite a lot of work for glass companies (Float glass, bottling plants etc) - and I don't know where you got this info from but there's loads of recycled glass used in all forms of glass manufacture, they even have their own name for it - Cullet.Yes but we MUST recycle to meet EU targets - funny how our local councils are still pushing for this.
The ONLY stuff that is fully recyclable is metal.

take a good look into concrete blocks in building sites you will find they have glass in themIs that right? I've always been good with recycling glass as I thought it was remelted into brown glass...
It's sorted by colour and is 100% recyclableIs that right? I've always been good with recycling glass as I thought it was remelted into brown glass...
Yeah I know it is at the bottle banks etc... but the cynic part of me assumed with youts etc mixing colours as they feel like, it was easier for recyclers to not bother and just make more brown glassIt's sorted by colour and is 100% recyclable
