Corrugated Iron Workshop Renovation.

I have a similar corrugated building - insulated /indoor office with log burner and divided into various work and storage spaces. It can still get pretty cold in winter (Im in Scotland) but it been great. I don't need heavy lifting equipment so cant comment on what you will need. What I can add is do make sure you reseat the roof panels (the old nails were workimg loose on mine); Painting it is a PITA I do it every 3/4 years and do check the bottom of your vertical wood pillers, I suspect some will need to replaced.

I'm actually starting to plan the next stage of my Big Green Shed with a 'leisure' end to open out at one end into the garden - the ultimate Meccano set :-)

No, planning is not an issue.

It's on the land registry things, cadastre over here, so if i knock it down tomorrow, it's not an issue.

Love the original building, I wouldn't like to knock it down. I'd just put in a new timber studwork frame off the old walls. Add some additional trusses if needed onto the new studwork.

Thats a grand shed. I have one in wrinkly tin on a bit of land i own it been up since before the first world war its got real patina or is it rust

Nothing has advanced, it's still full of stuff / crap.

I'll get the 4 post lift this week, fingers crossed , home.

I think I can borrow a telescopic handler with a scoop to move the hardcore, that's my major issue.

also between the purchase of the mill, the insulation, and the four post lift my pockets are nearly empty.

But hey.

Need to sort out the crap inside first.

Much moving of stuff.
