Yeah I also agree that's a neat job!

Some trades people would do far worse job & fill the gaps with expanding foam

save a dozen of them bricks in case u ever need them to patch in where theres been an old flue on a boiler or waste pipes .the daughter needed 35 and they were obsolete fortunately a neighbour took a wall down and I managed to get matching old bricks out of the skip weathered

Good idea, I'll put some to one side.


Concrete for my slab is coming tomorrow, so I thought I better get this done today, despite my hangover.

Now they have a straight shot with the wheelbarrows, rather than squeezing down the narrow path other side of the garage.

Yes, by the look of it. I alway thought it went on top. Mind up you, I’ve never laid a brick in my life.
