The old drawers were there to break the fall if the wall went over in one piece.

Rubbish brickies.
My C&G course told us to always build frog up so the brick has the full surface area to sit & suck on . Inverted you only have an inch or so of mortar holding the bricks in place. Yeah , I know it's cheaper & faster to build but would you want your own home jerry built like that?
Great job, makes me think I should really get on and start to look at fitting a window in my garage
This place is 30 years old, but I guess the ‘cheap and cheerful’ rot had set in even then. The ease with which these bricks knocked apart was a little worrying too.
if you build a trolley right you can have a board trolley /sand gravel bag trolley
just make the base and have 2 slot ins at the sides where you slot in an a frame angled then remove when not needed
just like this below and has many uses and can be leaned up against the wall out of the way

I knocked together a quick dolly to move the sheet wood, worked quite well.
I knocked up a quick device to transport the wood. It worked quite well. Just an old castor wheel and a couple of offcuts.

I made posh version of yours it had two 100 mm lockable castors on it & only needed one G clamp
pics man we need picsSo, two months on, my new door arrived. And I started fitting it. Only problem is the rather large gaps down each side.
They recommended measuring up the hole, subtracting 10mm for the frame size, except the made it about 6mm even smaller still.
Wickes supplied me with some nasty expanding foam, and I have carefully squirted the stuff everywhere, all over me, the floor, several tools, the dog, even got some in the gap around the frame.....
Tomorrow I shall go have another look, see if it is solid. Might get some PVC trim to cover the mess up, but I'm glad its a garage back door though.
I did remove the door from the frame first, as advised before. It has made things a hell of a lot easier.
That's useful ....... was the door & frame bespoke made for Wickes and your order or was it a standard off the shelf door & frame ?

That is a neater job than I have seen many ""pro's" do with foam
