No one is suggesting the government will nationalise vets, the observation was that no matter how profitable a business was when it was nationalised, by any party in government at the time, they would turn it into a dog losing money.

The rot set in when doctors pay and conditions improved a few years ago and dentist differentials were not maintained. This must have saved the government a fortune.

The selling of nationalised industry is the admission of government that they are not competent enough to run a phone service / post office etc.

Why in earth would you vote for a government who's "selling point" is that they lack competency?

Various parts of our, now privatized, infrastructure have been bought up by nationalised companies. Just they're owned by foreign governments instead.

And yet most of those who are into rampant privatisation are the same go on about "sovereignty".

Again, if a government can't manage the post office, why are you voting for them in the hopes that the will run the rest of the country any better?

This is a similar issue that occurs when a manager from Aldi ( for example) applies for a job in the fire service as a Station "manager"
Those in charge think it's the same....when it's clearly not.

Exactly, Bliar signed off on the Horizon system and there was ample opportunity for both parties to have sorted this injustice, over the past 20 odd years.

Got here and they cancelled my appointment!

Going to Turkey to get my teeth done and a kidney stolen seems like a good idea now...

My dentist is doing the same to me...you are allowed 2 years between check ups. I start getting Fuhrer emails after 9 months from last visit
