I think most of them do that these days.
I can never remember the way to do it though so I cheat and ask Claude or Pi my Ai friends on my phone. So much easier. They tell me where to move the slides to. Obviously you need a dro but any dro will do.

Not as such. But most Chinese (including Aikron, Sino) got to a different output to ToAuto, I'll post a pdf / link later, but it is the same pinout as Machine Dro.
I've just tried the link I posted again and it didn't seem to mind. Says ships to UK. I clicked buy it now and it took me to the payment screen. I didn't want to try any further.
At what point did it throw up the message?

Sino, M-Dro, pinouts as DB9 5V TTL Aikron and Ditron available in both TTL and RS422.
As far as I am aware there is no standard for pinout positions or cable colours for the signals.
If buying separates as I did this is something you need to check.

Nice. Did you get the right one? It's not made really clear. There's a choice between the two axis and the three axis. The three axis costs a little more than the two. It's the colour selection bit in the middle of the screen grab. The three axis is selected in my screen grab and the two axis is selected on Dieselsamurai's. Sorry if I'm being Capt Obvious.

Strange, I have had quite a few orders from them without any address problem, infact one order that should be delivered soon. Not to worry.

The ebay sites seem to have the lengths I want, but not the Aliexpress site.
No, unlesss you want to do a bit of soldering, look at the signals going to the pin numbers.

I was thinking maybe the Aliexpress one I linked to above and then scales that fit, but tbh I'm inclined to go with the ebay one I linked to earlier in the thread
At least they're going to fit if I get them from that same source (my knowledge of electronics extends to changing a light bulb), and tbh I'm not too impressed by Aliexpress's rating on Trustpilot, and don't really want the hassle if things go wrong. I'm sure MDRO would be even easier but that's £££ in comparison.

They have gone up in price since I put a 3 axis on my RF30 drill mill and 2 axis on my lathes. Money well spent. You won't regret it. As others have said, the travel distance is around 140mm or so less than the overall distance so check your space to fit.
I used a dial guage to make sure the scale was parallel to the slide travel.
One of my displays died so replaced it, plug and play. Chinese electronics....
Rest are rock solid and reliable. Instructions are so-so.
