Is that so you can charge for it?
It is an option, but most of my designs are free.

Must be ultra expensive if they are that accurate. They take a battery, and a gps chip /aerial.
The round bits are the main body, the fan is all the lids nested.
They are for tracking rock movements.
So holes are core drilled into rocks / boulders, trackers are inserted, blanking cap and then resin sealed on top.
Then the movement of rocks in landslides / rivers / coast etc can be accurately datalogged

I have been looking for a sensibly priced thin GPS unit to fit into tube. I also need a 2g phone sim installed . But can't find anything.
LoRa by any chance?I think these use radio rather than sim but I’ll ask
The circuit board is not much bigger than a Simcard but the battery takes up most space (D-cell)

Not sure, I just got asked to print the bodies as they’d been let downLoRa by any chance?
About £150k from some reviews! No it’s definately not a cheap chinese model
It’s a Stratasys Fortus 450, about as good as it gets architecture wise for FDM printers
If that's a Dcell it's too big for what I have in mind.
