The size of nut for M10 depends on the standard being used. 16mm is a common size for flanged M10 nuts/bolts, but plain 16mm nuts do exist. The hole for the M10 nut was undersize though: I had to file the nut down from 17 mm AF to 16 mm AF to get it to fit. I'm not sure why the designer bothered with M7 either...
God damn that's sexyRedid the design of my spanner rack as u bought longer spanners for 6, 7, 9 and 9mm
Plus I could do it as a single piece as I now have a bigger printer

And doing the new one in orange meant I had to reprint the other 2 racks in orange

What's that actually do/for?I can’t remember if this was posted earlier but making a printable Rose index is an easy Fusion 360 project and they’re handy to have.

Now I can see its parallel. I was not sure if you needed a different size for each size rod.It must be more esoteric than I thought it was
I tried to look up the word " esoteric " in the chambers dictionary but couldn't find it .It must be more esoteric than I thought it was
Will upload to thingiverse and share the linksHave you got the links to those please?
I was going to but I ended up being busy. LolI tried to look up the word " esoteric " in the chambers dictionary but couldn't find it .
Ok guys maybe a bad time to ask but hey how.
I need to increase the exterior wall thickness on a bracket.
It was designed for a 30mm rail so I rescaled it to fit a 10mm rail.
This has meant the thickness is too thin and it snaps on the bend.View attachment 324725
How do I increase the external size in cura..
I have been trying to mod an stl file in fusion.... can load it, but cant edit.. following youtube tutorials, my menu's dont have the optons they show...You can't, you can only scale the whole thing as you have. To edit it, you need to load it back into a 3D editor. Most of them will accept an .stl file.
Design Spark Mechanical will load it as thousands of facets. You can convert them to solid but it warns you about doing it. Small items seem to be OK but anything else slows my very fast computer to a crawl and locks it up until the conversion is done.I have been trying to mod an stl file in fusion.... can load it, but cant edit.. following youtube tutorials, my menu's dont have the optons they show...
Fusion quite recently had some quite major rework done to the Surface and Mesh environments, so any videos more than a few months old are likely to have some noticeable differences.I have been trying to mod an stl file in fusion.... can load it, but cant edit.. following youtube tutorials, my menu's dont have the optons they show...

Sand me the STL and tel me what dimensions you want.
