Heating oil increase this morning

It does seem to be slowly dropping at the moment. Boiler juice are quoting 0.22p more than the HFD quote above today for me. HFD is as above for my postcode at 59.01pl

How much hose does the tank carry with them ?
I had a friend that ran a "Peddle Truck" delivering heating oil, and he had at least 300' of hose, all of them seem to have that same (300') large reel on the back. The reel is powered for easy retracting.

Had this issue with them before. It's very much down to the driver. Nervy driver no do. 300ft hose might do it just. My lane used to be straight to the front of the house, but a nigh vertical last bit.
So previous owner made a new bit which doglegs then curves down. My lane in total is 700ft, but as crow flies 400ft-ish. The larger 4wheelers reverse down to dogleg then ran hoses 75ft across grass.
I was a bit snotty with them because they should have delivered yesterday. Maybe spite now?
Oil4Wales is delivering at a higher price 60.5p compared to 56.7p. Both plus vat.
Got me over an oil-barrel?

Dropped as low as 53ppl here. Back up at 56ppl. Opec have announced they are reducing production though so we may be at a low point now.

Not sure how much effect that will have as opec now only 40% of world production and Russia is one of the biggest players in it!

Yeah. I really dont know. Be curious to see. It hasnt triggered a massive price hike like i thought it would.

Dont forget oil prices quoted as a commodity are loaded into a tanker/ pipeline, its roughly a 3 month lead before it comes out of a refinery to you as fuel. Thats averages…..obviously some gets to market quicker than others. Pipeline versus tanker from the gulf!

Ah, but the minute we hear of a rise, it seems prices go up. The minute we hear of a decrease in price they quote the info you have above!

I am holding out - its a gamble. I reckon they might drop another 5-8ppl to bring them into the high 40s ppl and then i will fill the 3500L tank!
