Wow this is an awesome build makes my little table i knocked up look pants in my defence all I had was a chop saw that cut wonky and a 5 in grinder. Looks smart matt can't wait to see the finished product

@Fraserb , how do you get emachine shop to give you a dxf file?

Did you pay the hundred / two hundred dollars?

So close...

Now you say that I'm sure there's something about the newest version not doing dxf export, there was a work around of opening emachine shop, press cntrl+alt+E then close and restart emachine shop and it gave you the export option, if that doesn't work I'm sure you could email someone(me) who has the older version the ems file and they could E mail back the dxf.

No, the upper and lower curves will go, as they're not to be cut.

Yep, general consensus of opinion is 'B'.

With the exception of my mother and the Aardlevark.

So the plan is...

A is going to be my welding bench, at 95cms tall.

Which for me is workbench height.

B is going to be the comissioned table, at 75cms tall. I've emailed the A/B photos to him, and asked if he still wants it upside down, and awaiting return from him.

And if he wants holes in bottom or top.

And.. Some kind soul on here is going to convert the files for me, bless.

Then... Maybe next week this might materialise, boss isn't ranting about all the steel plate sat in the work van, yet, which is verging on too heavy to move.

Is the machine cutting 4 of these and your joining them together with a sandwiched piece of flat bar in between (shaped to the profile)?

No, four pieces two tables, two designs.

Flat bar around the outside, and inside equidistant, so the 8mm plate is in the middle of the flat bar.

Then smaller widths to give the semi circles between the outside flat bar.

With lettering welded on.

Six tubes, three top and bottom holding the ends parallel, tubes threaded over 100mm each end, with threaded round nuts which pinch up, with flats milled on for a spanner.

Just playing with prototypes first, maybe ?
