I wouldn't worry about it they rarely go that wrong and it usually happens because you end up 'fixing' the wrong part .

Regarding nozzles, what's the reasoning of the different nozzle sizes? Is the 0.4 the general use size which covers all?

Nozzle size limits the minimum layer and feature size you can make, smaller nozzles for more detailed parts that take longer, and bigger nozzles for larger, less detailed and/or stronger parts. 0.4 is the general compromise for most people, I run 0.8-1mm for most stuff tbfh.

Must say, I'm impressed with the quality of manufacturing. They could teach flat pack manufacturers a thing or two. All holes line up perfectly, no burrs etc.

It's a great printer especially for beginners, they don't need much work to get them running reliably....

The ender should have come with a cd with software on it. Probably an older version of cura slicer, although it will already have the ender settings configured. If you use something else, you'll have to input the ender settings like build plate size etc, so go with the version that comes on the cd and whatever defaults it has after choosing your printer out of the list to get printing something quickly, then when you get a bit more used to it and have watched a few YouTube videos on how to set up different slicers find one that you like and use that.

Cheers. There's a SD card that came with it, so it may be on that. I'll have a look.

The sd card might just have the demo prints on. Just had a quick Google and found https://www.creality.com/download which might mean they're saving money on cds and have made it a download now.
