This is true, I do wonder how much this would cost if I was to pay a shop to build it for me. Id hazard a guess maybe 25k or a bit more ?Oi - that bonnet release is a Rangy one - not boxy enough
Well Kim look on the bright side - see what you've saved doing it yourself. I've just picked my Disco 2 TD5 up having had a replacement Richards galvanised chassis fitted:
Chassis inc delivery and VAT £2670
Spraying chassis £200
Fitting including replacing Anti Roll bars, various odds & sods and a full oil change £2295-89 (41 hours labour at £40 p/h)
So a total of £5,165.89 which is probably about £2K more than the vehicle is worth, but as I've had it from practically new, and it's only done 70,000 miles it's worth it to me, and my hands are clean and unscarred
Patina with no doors and a million different colours ? I'd look so odd hahaYou can leave the patina and call it a rat-rod? Save a bundle!

I do love that, it's ever so quirky! But no lol, It's going to be Havana greyAlready been done, this one cost a lot to build.

I'll get to building it fully then stripping finally for paint
