http://www.yrm-metal-solutions.co.uk/epages/BT4822.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/BT4822/Products/175YRM can sort that corrosion out! look them up, ive bought a few things from them very good quality!
I did wonder, it's more like dust lol. I wish they made a full length panel I could re rivet in .Tig what exactly ? rotten ali doesnt tig to well !
i may just do that, I could probably make an exact replica but will need the sheet cut and folded on a big bender to make it nice Saves welding thenyou can buy a sheet and cut it to shape , im sure you could manage that , judging from the rest of your work !
I'll see how I get on with the place I use, they do me allot of favours the only but I can't bend is the two or three 90deg bends which run the width of the car.Peter Riddle is your man in Watford for a bit of bending or challenging developments Kings Langley they do a nice bit of bending !
Always my luck haha, to top of yesterday rubbish day I realised I'm going to have to spend from 1-2k to make it LEZ compliant as in literally two minute walk from the LEZ .Kim you'd be welcome to use my Edwards box and pan folder and my guillotine but I'm afraid the geography isn't really right.
I know I couldn't believe it, I've started a huge debate on a defender page on fAcebook and a friends getting me a quote from emonix to see how much exhaust will cost, I'll make it a stack type If I do it. Also never realised because all our cars are newer so don't have the worry. It's only when my friend mentioned about his new truck that I remembered. I think it'll cost like £1500 for the stack I do hope it's much cheaper however lol.DOH . I can't believe you didn't realise this earlier if you live that close to the lez
So how much is a dpf etc gonna cost ? We run a few older trucks that are not lez compliant , we just pay the charge for the few times a year that they venture down there .
The rest of us with euro 5 trucks , do have the pleasure of visiting London village quite often
Slang for a woman who has sexual inclinations for the same sex.OK sorry I hav'nt lived in the UK for a few years ...What is LEZ?....
Without creating pages and pages of debate, if my car had a rear row of seats it could be classed as an estate. Can even be done in a van but in a pickup it's a bit hard to get around it. My only two options I can see are, fitting the newer td5 engine and having it certified and will probably need an engineers report to show it as well. Or buying a dmf exhaust and making it an exhaust stack. The latter is obviously easier but both are very expensive and dmf can block.Well what puzzles me is that my model year 2000 Discovery has the same TD5 engine as Kim's 110 and according to the LEZ site mine IS compliant.
