Poly Urethane, no shame in asking! What's pu adhesive ? Sorry if that's a bit thick, never done anything like this before and am really anxious about something going wrong while painting all the body work

And the selfie I posted lol, bit hard showing photos of me working when I do it all on my own.Now we have proof Kim is a gal. A bloke would charge straight ahead without seeking advice then lie about getting it wrong, whereas a girl has the common sense to admit when she doesn't know and ask for advice
The only silly question is the one you fail to ask!

Also Im right in doing the sealer and filler before paint ?
I was dissapointed when I met him, well not really he is better looking, have you seen welderpaul's picture
Brilliant I will do that. With the seat belt mounts that's rotted out can I bolt that in where it's been spot welded ? And I'll paint that at the same time seperatelyHi, yes rivets will be fine. If you paint it all before fitting on the steel cappings or fitting it to the chassis it will seriously cut down the electrolytic action that has done so much damage already.

Hi colinHi, if by the the seat belt mounts you mean the presently rusty lumps hanging on the bottom of the flange, then yes. As long as the part with the nut is the other side of the panel from where the belt bolt is, then how it's held in place doesn't matter. Are you buying the mounts or making them from a nut (7/16" UNF) welded to a steel plate?
