What would the point be of a seal if it didn't touch ? It'd create a draft if it didn't seal I imagine.

Hmmm not sure which will be best to use ? What do you all think ? Links would be brill and Ebay best lol I'm lazy and hate filling in order forms

I have used both, but i prefer dintrol. I haven't done any long term or scientific testing though. Its Likely either will be fine. Do you have a compressor and shutz gun? If not they do dintrol in aerosols.

I second Dinitrol, excellent stuff. Dinitrol classic in all cavities and Dinitrol under body wax on external areas, including nuts and bolts. And anti-seeeze on all threads etc if not already using it.

I have heard enough times that there are better alternatives to waxoyl, Dinitrol being one.
I apply such things with a paraffin gun off the compressor. They cope with thick stuff fine.

General concenous seems to be that dinitrol is the better stuff so ordered 4l of that with a shoultz (I don't know how it's spelt 
) gun for £55 which I think is brill
I ordered some sound deadening. Not the beat but not the worst by a long shot from what I gathered. I'll be ordering some really good deadening matting as well when I'm closer to the end.

Check out the SY50 http://www.customaudiodesigns.co.uk/tecsound-acoustic-membrane.htm then just 5 or 6mm layer of closed cell foam in between and that's as good as you get at a much lower price.

Ordered a load of that actually
some were saying it's not so good on Lr forum then another guy was like if it can greatly reduce the noise on his 7l odd v8 then it'll be fine on Landy. The other stuff which is reflective was so much more expensive. I couldn't justify it.

I can't contain myself so here we are finally. After many months of hard work the first bit of painted bodywork is on
It's a pearlescent colour. Looked black at first then closer you get it looks grey. I'm so pleased.
I feel as though the pictures don't do it justice but it's a really nice colour.
Going to get on the phone to powder coasters now and maybe take a load of stuff to be done as I really don't want to paint anymore haha.
