Okie dokie, well unfortunately I haven't got all the bits I wanted, nor have I been well enough to do much.
Today I collected the powder coated bits. Unfortunately the guy was trying to be good with me and leave a sticker on one panel but I told him to just strip it. So he's going to do that bit again, I did however manage to assemble quite a bit of the air box here are the pics all new rivets and screws!

Yes I did that on the kitchen Table haha, pretty clean job thankfully and I was able to sit and do it.

Unfortunately I noticed the blower snail bit is rotten through. Because of the fan condition, I've decided I'll just buy a whole new bit. Save the hassle of trying to polish a turd!

And finally I have the air box mount to fit too

Okay, not worked out quite how I planned. So I've changed my mind (again I hear you say!) and decided that I don't think HCPU is right for me. It's too cramped and I have long legs. I found a DCPU body which would enable me to be Lez compliant. As well as more practical, means I can get rid of my Audi and not have two lots of everything to pay out for!
Unfortunately the DCPU body I was looking at has sold I'm going to look for another. No point doing the job twice and how much it's costing to paint I'd rather do it right once!
So yes this is now what I'm going to make it look like.

if you do it as a two door all you need is a 110 back end 90 hard top and sides and 90 /110 back door or your pick up you just shorten the roof and sides down to suit and pop rivit it back together loads been done like it

He has the three seats in the front and the two back seats face inward as he's used a shortened 90 cab. The work came out very nicely indeed.

I'm really not keen on king cabs at all to be honest. I want 4 doors. Can make the back into a bed as well. Perfect for when I go away for weekends like I used to.

I thought that the LEZ compliance regarding seating depended on how it was described when it came out of the factory, not how it's been modified? Obviously I must be wrong ???
