Just done a bit more, unfortunately I realised one of the steering UJ's is bad. Ordered a new one of those and two bolts I missed. I decided to put the steering Colum on, oh my lord! What a pain in the ass. Should've done it first!
Anyway it's on and roughly bolted up.
Looks good all painted up nicely!

Glad it's in there, Friday I'll get the parts and hopefully finish the steering finally!

So good and bad news, I'll start with the bad. Once again my parts have not turned up, my dash still isn't here which is annoying.
Now the good news, I got my stuff back from the powder coater

I think it looks terrific! I need to tack the actuators on for the air flow and heat displacement. The clips broke when I was removing them and unfortunately I don't know where to find them. I asked on a Land Rover forum but the only person to reply said he had to weld them on.

They go on those shafts. That pop out. I just don't know any other way. Never seen the clips they're on them before

Nothing at all. they were like a U shape clip which fitted over the little arm then the top had star shaped tabs which pushed on and locked it in position.

I ended up welding mine kim, gave up searching for those bleeding clips.

Neither of those, these clips stop all movement, I had a good search through google but couldn't see any. They are litereally as I described before though. Mega Pain.

Here you go, round on the top then U shape goes round to the bottom, the winged bits hold it on.

No I ripped them off with a big pair or cutters when I got annoyed haha.
