Quite a bit less than the lupine betty that it’s based on same led board. Custom led driver from USA taskled a guy George makes the drivers absolute legend. Quite a few hours putting it together

i have a couple of old lantern torches with 6v bulbs, i thought id upgrade them to LED bulbs but when they arrived the polarity was wrong compared to the battery. square batteries have the -V in the middle and the bulb was centre +ve

You can get non polarity dependant LED replacement bulbs.

Some torches have outputs quoted in LUMENS and some CANDLEPOWER........I read that Lumens divided by 12.57 = candlepower.......so my 12000 lumens torch is about 1000 candlepower, so my 2 million candlepower lamp is 2000 times brighter........I must be missing something as it isnt

The two don't really convert into each other. If I remember this right, Lumens are a measure of useable light where the light hits (accounts for the reflector, bulb etc.) candlepower is just how much light the source (bulb) emits. You can get these 1 and 2 million candle power torches but compared to a pro torch like a Dragon or similar that outputs only 100,000 candle power the pro ones wipe the cheap ones backsides, all to do with the reflectors, focus etc. Then there's Lux...

Oh and it gets hot hot hot on max. Probably why lupine down graded theirs to 5000 lumens
