i have a couple of old lantern torches with 6v bulbs, i thought id upgrade them to LED bulbs but when they arrived the polarity was wrong compared to the battery. square batteries have the -V in the middle and the bulb was centre +ve
Some torches have outputs quoted in LUMENS and some CANDLEPOWER........I read that Lumens divided by 12.57 = candlepower.......so my 12000 lumens torch is about 1000 candlepower, so my 2 million candlepower lamp is 2000 times brighter........I must be missing something as it isnt
