Mini wheels aren’t as there’s more machining than my full size and the price rises on a low margin item .
It’s like you having a 1000sq roof but hipped and dormers and a 5000sq basic verged roof
Big wheels are viable and these are for a American order

They’re patterns to form moulds in sand
Yes cast in metal otherwise they’d be useless

Nice. Given this is a "making things" forum, do you think it might work to cast some without your name on it, to be sold for completion by forummers "in their own time"?
Might mean the casting costs come down substantially for yours, and one or two of us have been known to pay for a project..
Think I might have one..

loverly job . a lot of work goes in to pattern making ive made a few. they have to be spot on or the pattern wont come out of the mold boxes clean and the finished article will be rough

Put it this way it’s too big to machine on my little 7 ton Devlieg due to the bores needing quartering to get alignment.
I’m not defacing the pattern either .
That said you’re welcome to buy a casting . I could machine the base so you have a datum to make a fixture so you could use the fixture as your quartering jig
