Better than no mini at all I suppose!
It's a real shame they didn't protect those last minis properly they really are the rustiest of all made. Ours was fastidiously looked after but there were signs of paint bubbling on the door skins and around the front panel headlight seams at only 3 years old.Mrs A has not forgiven me for selling hers, but rot was appearing everywhere - this was our second new Rover mini - they replaced the first one under warranty as the paint fell off in sheets. They offered a respray which I declined, as it was coming off underneath as well as where you could see!
Wow, that's bad. They are normal seam cappings painted in the same tweed grey as the car.Not a big Mini fan etc but with the seams are they chrome trimmed?
