Was kind of thinking that myself but wasn't sure how close you were to them.Thinking some more over dinner, i'm not even sure its worth doing an RTB on it - i'll have to pay shipping and repairs as out of warranty and i was only going to sell it on, but at a guess it has a value of what, maybe £200? That minus the repairs = pretty much nothing.

Suppose you are looking at about £30 or so for carriage there and back. Repair cost unknown but even say £100 and you are not going to get a lot more, probably get more selling spares or repairs as someone who is electronically minded could likely sort themselves for not too much.
I would first though be looking inside for anything obvious such as loose connections or scorched components, you never know......
