Looks good, but I don’t think you are supposed to put screws in the bottom of the valley, as that’s where water congregates.

They make a hole? Can’t really see the cone shape, but I’m sure they thought it through pretty good before deciding where to fasten. I assume there is a decent sized rubber seal to go under the screw head too.

oh and plan the rafters and studs right you dont need to cut and waste boards! thats why i have a odd spacing in the middle ;-)

That’s why I have gone for 12 x 16 foot with mine. I plan an overhang all the way round, with the roof, maybe a little ‘porch’ action at the front too, so I’ll plan my rafters etc to let the full boards overhang, for strength.

screws are easier if you want to take a piece out to alter/add/change something , otherwise nails are cheaper?

Re the shiplap Toolstation do a lost head screw specifically for cladding , called lost -tite about 3 quid a hundred, used these on my mancave , hth

I do have those screws but we used the gun

I've a Silverline brad nailer and a small Bambi compressor. They work very well together. Could do with a decent nailer for final fixing.

Those compressors are perfect for nail guns u can't even hear it running
