All the batton is now up and one side is clad. The Mrs taped the joints I suppose now sealant is needed on vertical laps anyway. But we did.

I think i have overlapped the sheets the wrong way.
It aint coming down lucky it is only the wall!
I will have it right by the time I do the roof

yes but it will do if you want to leave it

let me explain though

any water gets through it will stay on the wood

if you had run the latts upwards first then run the latts sideways it stops water resting on them and rotting them as much

on the top piece it would give you something to screw onto

most roofs are done the same way latts following the rafters and then the cross latts to jack them up enough so a you dont puncture the felt but allow any water to run off down the felt and off at the bottom

remember these are done this way for blue slate, stone and also concrete roofs

metal roofs are worse as many companys have found out abroad

That is what the rubber washer is for

Hi these sheet's are designed to be fixed in the valley, the fixings pull the material upwards to form a cone under the sealing washer, the more expensive pvc coated sheets have a life of approx 25 years, the portal building have steel purlins which the valley is fixed to .

this build should see me out!
it was chucking it down all day today so i ran the ring main and fixed nogins in place for the 20 double sockets. I also ran the cable for the 6 led 5 foot batons

I had the exact same conversation with burdekin on the roof sheets some fasten on the highs but most fasten on the lows

must admit it goes against what im aware of weather they state it seals it better with the rubber
