Hi,

What a huge project Hood; I've just read the entire thread and am most impressed by your high skills and stamina; very well done indeed; had I been American I'd have said "Awesome" which is richly deserved. My only concern is having spent a fortune on the build will you be able to afford the electricity bill? An inspiration to us all thanks for posting the story with excellent images. :welder:

The stamina gave up years ago, just stubbornness that keeps me going except for yesterday and today as the back has given up, hopefully a couple of days of rest will get it moving again

Ibuprofen is my wonder drug these days, but it takes a couple of doses at 8 hour intervals to really cut through the pain.

I take it every day for my knees and other joints but continuous use is not really a good thing

Unless it's really non-topical or too many spots to do I prefer the diclofenac based stuff like Voltarol more. It's concentrated on the ouchy and provides better relief.

No good when everything aches though...

CBD oil convert here. I was on a massive cocktail of stuff that would make a horse keel over at one time! Just 100mg pregabalin twice a day and CBD oil now

Tried CBD in the vape and sadly the only thing it did for me was make me cough

I maybe should talk to a neighbour and get some of the real stuff and give that a go

I use the drops in the oil

there’s plenty of remote islands here with poly tunnels on! :whistle:

I was given Gabapentin for nerve pain, with my wrists. havent done anything for the last 7wks. Total CBA.

Taken loads of bad drugs fir back pain. Stopped the tablets and have a sports massage every 4-6wks. Best thing I’ve done in yrs

Problem is everyone knows your business you there. At least in a town, your neighbours dont know you. My mate was living next to a grow for months before he found out..by the coppers knocking the door down at 5am

You are right unless you’re on a small island with not many others on. Guy got busted last week. Tons of the stuff. I’m not sure how much exactly but there was a hell of a lot.

my old unit was next to a grow. There was six of us in an enclosed yard type thing. We never suspected a thing until it was raided. They had a rudimentary scrubber set up on the extractors.

I got the aluminium slat holders fitted and levelled today and fitted some of the old bars that were of reasonable condition.

Not sure whether to get a sheet of 3mm and cut as per the pic below which would give me enough to do the whole table or just get some more 50mm x 3mm flat. Hopefully, whichever way I go, I can get it ordered tomorrow and delivered Wednesday.

I don't have the tank plumbed up yet, not even sure how I am going to do it, air or pump. I have a central heating pump that I could use, not sure how it would stand up and may be a bit slow but I really like the idea of using air as there is nothing to get clogged up except the pipes.

I have no physical experience of it but there is a table that uses the legs as a tank to drain the water tray down into.

uses an accumulator to blow it back up I think. Possibly a hypertherm. I like the idea but without seeing it it’s hard to tell how well it would work. I like the idea there’s no pump to block with crud.

I have a tank made already, just need to decide on pump or air.
Air seemingly works very well and you only need a few PSI. I have an old oxygen regulator I was going to use for adjusting the pressure but I am not sure if I have enough valves and other fittings lying around to complete things and this time of year is a right PITA for getting anything delivered.
Might actually be better with big bore air pipe as it would fill quicker at the low pressure, that would mean the regulator wouldn't be any use though. Will have a mess around with things and see how it works but at least I can just fill the table and work away with it for a while before having to worry about it.

Downdraught worked well enough for me the last 4 or so years but fancied trying some submerged cutting on stainless so decided on a water table for this.

Air Lift works great. Used on ponds sometimes. Cheaper than a pump vs volume of water moved.
