The manager did say that "if you work hard, and show enthusiasm, you could well be doing my job in a few years". It can't have been a hard job, considering what a slop hole the place was.My sister worked there and said it was the best company she’s ever worked for
Might just be your town as my sister worked in two of them whilst at college and made loads of friends and had the option of career progression
When the first Maccy D opened here in 1980 practically everyone I knew who didn't have a real job spent a couple of months working there, over the following years. None stuck it for long, but then they were the sort who never stuck at any job for long.
We have 3 MacDo's now, which is surprising for a fairly small town.
And to be honest, I don't mind a nice double cheeseburger and fries occasionally. Or a MacBreakfast.
