Dry sump let's you drop the engine but takes up loads of engine bay space, tank, pump, scavenge pump(s) pipework etc

Aye, but could they not pipe it to the boot, where they've ended up with enough space? I appreciate the length of the pipe runs but surely that could be factored into the diameter(s) - run them inside the shell too?

If I'm honest I've only ever done 1 dry sump so I'm far from an expert, I was trying to make an engine rev stupidly high.
I wouldn't want the oil lines running to the back, even in a mini. Allthough I'm happy to be corrected by others with more experience

They have stuck to doing things properly which most projects just gloss over or don't even bother with

I've never built a car as mad as binky but I used to hate seeing badly or quickly thrown together, everything I do has to be right so i appreciate the attention to detail

They’re doing the job properly and I wouldn’t want that to ever change.

It’ll be nice to see it finished and I think it’s harder now that we know they’re so close, but the past episodes still showed the usual good work and was working watching.
