This is the issue with things like this, the reason it is popular here is because people don't want to see a show where 1000 hours are condensed into 1hr. Everyone will have their break point. There are Youtubers that I used to watch all the time but their style has worn off for me yet others still manage to hold my interest.

You can't please everyone and they are already doing a lot of condensing themselves now.

Generally once I start fast fowrarding videos that normally marks the end of me watching them.

And I'd rather see detailed bracket work that some fake family argument, faux fist fight, pretend disaster, day off to go kart racing in the middle of a mega urgent deadline.... etc, that seems to be almost compulsory on every other motoring related video/series.

I was on about the cost of building a new racecar I've never seen a competitive grass tracker for that sort of money, my seat was more than that

The thing with all cheap reguated motorssport is to gEt quick you have to bend the rules whilst not getting caught. My son and I spent 2 years running a class1/juniors mini 1000 in National autograss. You'd look at everything, every little bit to see if modifying it would gain you anything. And the best thing? It wouldn't cost you anything,more than time....

The good thing was you could measure your pace against your rivals, almost weekly.

Hardest bit is finding a track for bangers, so many have gone.

You won't be able to buy an Aygo,C1 or 107 for love nore money soon. Already at a bit of premium because they are good first cars but now there is a race series it will be even worse.
....

Yup some of my aquaintances set it up as a splinter from 2cv racing ( they are getting seriously expensive) sadly the standard of driving is terrible as its seen as throwaway motorsport, its more like a demolition derby than a sprint or enduro race.

One of the famous masters of finding the 'grey' areas was an American called Smokey Yunick. Worth looking him up. One of his most well known was when Nascar limited the size of the fuel tank, they said nothing about the size of the fuel line. So his was 2" diameter and 10 ft long and held about 5 gallons...

I love that film. It's amazing how many of Nascar greatest drivers come from the deep south but I guess that's because it's origins is in running moonshine. I'm not big Nascar fan but I would like to go to Daytona just to see the spectical, it seems to be the equivalent of going to Monaco.
