I would have thought they could drill and shoot a bunch of sealant inside, then put a grommet in the hole. I did that on the box section sills of a car I built...basically because I forgot to put any sort of coating on the steel while I was fabricating it....All that seam sealing finickiness going on but what about the back of all those stand off brackets and areas the spray gun can't ever get at?
There must still be loads of un painted areas out of sight.

I reckon we'll get an episode where they spend days 3D printing a specially shaped brush to get behind every bracket, maybe even one for each coat!
I learnt alot, found it a fascinating insight to a trade i dabble in. I likéd thé flicking technique when hé changed direction.Yeah that paint job is impressive! I actually enjoyed watching that episode tbf

...I was watching him lay the pipes and cables and it occurred to me that if this was my build, I would almost certainly have a few points where I'd realise I had mis-measured or mis-cut, so would need to add a spacer or another bracket.
