Turns out it was just the fuse in the plug, so that's another thing ticked off the list. Result!Watch them fingers....

Yes, I have that in the back of my mind. I need to find a plastic retaining nut to hold the switch in place, so I can use it and see if it goes again - that did feel a bit weird but it's moving about. The wires in the mains plug weren't retained by the clamp, so I don't know if something has been loose in there.

Brad you can go into camera settings and change definition settings, this happened with my new ipad until I adjusted it.

I did that a few years back, I have a cut down T35 renault master van backhalf, with a hay bale in it and the front of the chassis brought forward to a tow hitch to move it around. But its at a different place and probably rotted out by now as its been in the field for a decade or so. For a while we were using a old rotten mk2 transit I inherited with a property that was waiting for me to get around taking the scrapyard with a arrow stop box target inside. It was really handy to open the rear doors and have them as extra catchment if a arrow went awry. When it finally went the scrappy becase we were felling a tree it was under, the rear wheel arches were full of small holes where errant arrows had gone through them and both the rear tyres were flat. I shoot recursive instinctively with a 55lb hoyt recurve with no sights or stabilizers and heavy alloy arrows which drives my olympic archery club completely mad, but I only used to go the club for the kids so they could have the excitement of competitions and being taught by a proper trainer as I hated all that "who could spend the most on gear in the archery shop" vibe although its great fun to humiliate the all the gear and no idea types
In the garden its back to being a great bit of fun for all the family without all the politics and nonsense and teaches discipline since you have to be rigid with your kids about when they can shoot and everyone collects arrows ensemble, or sooner or later there's a child/arrow incident of course.

Laws of unintended consequences.
Decided to reinstall loudspeakers that had been removed to replace a radiator. New rad turns out to be longer than the original, so said speaker will foul the door.
Only alternative place will mean stripping a wall unit to shorten by 500mm and putting that part onto the end of another unit. But that will mean moving a desk to a different wall………..arrrrgh
The other solution is to sell the loudspeakers, a pair of Linn Isobariks but not many people have the space or the amps to drive them.

I am just finished last day at work and drinks with friends after it. So can now actually think about the hols, off until 3rd Jan
I have too many tools and old Mercedes around me. So my plan is quite simple this time around.
I'm going to clear my back garage and below my stalled S430 project. She is sitting at top of scissor lift all restored but with the re sealed V8 engine and transmission on a pallet on the floor needing to go back in.
I hope to get her engine back in during the hols. Not running but in at least and major installations complete such as propshaft and exhaust.
