well calor will say that when u can fill them for 50 pence and they charge a tenner . I have an adaptor to fill large propane bottles at the shell garage just make sure the attendant don't see u doing it or they will kick off and as far as safety is concerned using thin bottles they are thicker than the old camping gaz bottles and aerosol cans of it for refilling lightersDespite the warning on the bottle not to refill, BS?
ha ha how much to fill a large bottle at the garage?well calor will say that when u can fill them for 50 pence and they charge a tenner . I have an adaptor to fill large propane bottles at the shell garage just make sure the attendant don't see u doing it or they will kick off
this is what I use. just cut the burner end threads of and re thread whitworth get a pol conector and drill out the sleeve and thread it screw it to the torch job done t5he only thing that needs removing is the one way safety valve fitted in the torch
the bottle u fill off has to be turned upside down and the filled bottle uprite underneath it so presumably u have large propane bottles to fill offThank you for that. It will save me quite a bit in the long run.
cant remember . I only got one filled a few years ago but cheaper than getting a bottle exchanged . I only fill the small ones because its well worth it
£30!@brightspark do you think this could be a solution?
