If I live off the beaten track then this place is on a rough single track off the beaten track!
2023 she had 4 music dos. 2024 only two. Made a loss I think on the cider festival.

Its near some fields and woods, but not so far out…..looks the kind of place youd take someone else's wife! Marketing is key for events…antisocial media and such. It does work. For pubs to thrive now…its all about food, but good beer helps.

I have adjusted the location requirements .
My sort of place as it's 250 miles from my home ...... guilty as charged but only for a few months till she & I were fully free .

The pub's a 20 minute walk if I get a lick on. Uphill too so I'm gasping if I walk. Must admit I usually cajole SWMBO or my lad to drive me up and I "walk" back after taking the edge off.
Doesn't do food, crisps only generally. We dream of the days you could get peanuts up there.
I'd rename it The Take It Or Leave It...
Needs so much work doing there. A full time handyman would be kept busy.
I was thinking of getting that Alex the hotel inspector up there in her boots...

Indeed. Retirement isn't far off. She has two grown up kids live there with her. Don't know what they'll do with the place once she goes...

The place I got the pumpkin said this year was a bit rubbish for bigger ones. What I paid for the pumpkin goes to charity anyway. Spadeworks supports people with learning difficulties etc.
