Sometimes the simple way is best. A hole drilled either side of the brake boxes, a piece of wire pushed through and then three wires pulled through. I may change this system if the wires rub, and fit a grommet, but for my needs right now it’s ok.
Also, a fuel cap is now on courtesy of an oil drum I sold recently with a pump attached. Pump - $15, drum - free, sale price - $250! And a free fuel cap. Not bad

I did some tidying and now I can fit two tractors side-by-side in the workshop, I’m dead pleased! Space, heavenly space
With the wiring complete and looped through the brake box, I was able to finally reattach the tool box. You also have to loop the high tension lead through, an added faff, but it’s worth it in the end as it keeps it in place, not vibrating and dancing all over. A bolt was replaced on the cowling, another source of vibration at high speed (lol) and the tool kit, pliers, bolts for hooking the trailer on and a D shackle all fit snugly in the box along with the handle.
A quick test run at idle, it’s running much better now

Stakes might be a bit on the slim side so I may bulk them up in future, but atm it’s holding well and I’ve tentatively pushed the machine to the edge (being careful not to kill myself!!) and the bank hasn’t collapsed. I want to drive it onto a trailer to move a small building at my friend’s property. They said they were going to move it by hand (!) so I offered use of the crawler. We shall see how it goes…

Dogkennel, rabbit hutch or chicken coop would be easy. How big a load, for a small low-powered crawler can manage, might be debatable. It’s the slope which matters.

I picked up this pto box which sends the shaft out 90°, it came with a load of other bits including an overrun clutch that was very dirty and full of water ingress, but has started to come up good.
