The Sealey TIG200HFACDCF foot pedal works nicely with the Sherman. This style foot pedal is the same as most that retail for £200, but can be had for around £90 (Amazon had this for £70, but it's gone back up near £100). I just replaced the connector with the XS12 5 pin connector and now I just use a plain CK torch.

That's good to know as the XS12 pin (5 pack ) connectors I ordered off Amazon finally arrived on Friday. I just need the Sherman now!

I have the Sherman but the connectors have not arrived yet, wonder who will get the full compliment first

I desoldered the connnector (and the 10mm gas connector) off the handpiece that came with the welder as I don't plan to use the Sherman torch. The gas connector fits well on one of the Parweld Dinse adaptors for the CK torch.

I did order connectors from China just in case I ever decide to use the Sherman torch.

Got the Sherman, XS12 connectors and the torch adaptor with the screw in and quick fit ends. Thought the XS connectors were the wrong ones initially until I realised they had the bulkhead side of the connector already attached.

Mine came like that too. I also have the other dinse to threaded adaptor too.

My finger is hovering over the buy button on the grey eagle site. Has anyone had one delivered from there yet? Or has anyone tried to buy and found they are also out of stock? It sounds safe enough if payment is by PayPal, but I’m a bit concerned what the other half is going to say when it gets delivered..

His Polish workmate had phoned them and they said they had plenty in stock but how many is plenty I don't know

I bought a pedal from them but then they said they had no stock and refunded me straight away. Seem reliable.

Just say you have no idea why it was delivered because you didn't order it...to be really convincing you have to leave it in the box unopened for a month. Then ask the other half after a month whether you should just sent it back or maybe just used it (shame to let it go to waste).

Sounds like UK is blocked...you could try hiding your location but suspect will just end up with a cancelled order anyway!

To me it sounds like a case of price fixing by a disgruntled supplier of an orange version of the Sherman!

No point checking weldes.de they no longer list the 206 being discussed in the forum, possibly out of stock don’t know.
