Sherman Tig (Jasic in disguise?)

Looks like they've re-done their website and produced regional variants - weldes.co.uk is now live.
Says that they've hit errors in updating their stock listings so only 5% of stock is available online, and they're adding the rest manually. No idea about the 206ac/dc though, it's not there at the moment.

Potentially poor timing as I put an order in with GreyEagleShop last night, it seems to have been accepted and I have a confirmation email, so I will wait and see what happens... GreyEagleShop has a 14 day cancellation policy and I paid by Paypal so not too concerned.

Interestingly no mention of a polish site, but addition of multiple languages. Now we wait and see if prices are different for each country once the stock is updated

Well im going to try and get one when there website comes back online. the 416p that I've got is OK but I you'd wouldn't want to buy it. maby if it was £100 cheaper because it does a pretty good job on dc but on ac it's lacks enough balance adjustment its only 5% either way nad some of the menus can be annoying still a reasonable machine but there's are better options for the money

Yes I’ve had the confirmation from greyeagle as well (had to google translate it of course), also confirmation from PayPal that the payment had gone through.

What Hood said, I used the link he posted in his post #889 the other day. I just checked back on the site and my order is still showing, and no email to say anything is amiss, so I’m assuming they have accepted it ok. There’s still time for it to go wrong of course, but at least PayPal gives a bit of security.

By the way, I forgot to say thanks to all those who have contributed, done the research and kept us all informed.

There have been one or two posted that have identical panels but cases totally different, might be the same internals or might not be. Suppose we just have to find a brave soul willing to take a chance, it won't be me though

I think this is the same.

Parts listing at the end is identical (I think, I checked only a few components!) to the Jasic.

The drawing on page 10 is the Jasic machine it seems...someone needs to take a punt I think.

Jasic HQ will blow a gasket I reckon if it is the same....serves them right too

Maybe the Welder Fantasy is a clone of the Sherman which is a clone of the Jasic!

After you the graphics from that manual are blatantly lifted from jasic so cheap as well, surely someone will get one... I would be more tempted by this machine than the magnum

I was thinking that the connectors are in a different location....but looking at the pics of the Jasic they would be very easy to relocate as it's a bolt on plate. The fact that the front panel is basically the same I reckon it's worth a punt for sure.

I would buy it....but that white would get dirty real quick.....and I prefer the Sherman blue I reckon.

Wonder how many hundred they will sell in the next couple of weeks

In the sherman/jasic the connectors bolt straight onto the board, hence the uppy downy configuration. But maybe they used jumper cables or bars the manual is the most compelling evidence, but words are easier to change than hardware, might just blame a missprint if it's not the same
