Since all the other Sherman welders are available and it's not a blanket policy to the UK (i.e., rules out leaving the EU etc.) there is something about that model.
It could be Jasic pressing them, but what hold does Jasic have over Weldes? They probably don't have a sales relationship (partner, reseller, official distributor, etc.). It may be Jasic or not. It could be that they (weldes) want to limit to the UK as there isn't that much profit with all the posting and then support, it could be working out very unprofitable to send the majority to the UK and wish to balance things. It could be a chance to up the price and control supply because of demand.
Note to all: next cool deal found...post it to the private members section to hide it from googlebot and search engines!
We wish to sell this, but if we don't stop selling to UK on webshop, ebay, amazon and in other places where the offer is visible to the public, then Sherman 206P AC/DC will be no longer exist...

So....maybe Jasic is pressing Sherman and Sherman wants to keep selling so is trying to stop sales to the UK. If so it's a little unfair to the UK. So Jasic doesn't mind competition in other countries? Say: Austria, Italy, Belgium, Latvia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Croatia, Luxembourg, Cyprus, Malta, Czechia, Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Estonia, Portugal, Finland, Romania, France, Slovakia, Germany, Slovenia, Greece, Spain, Hungary, Sweden, and Ireland? It's just the UK that Jasic has a problem with?

But why has the price increased? Forgive my bluntness but it could be seen as price fixing (which is not allowed) if Jasic and Sherman have agreed to set a minimum market price.

Yes, they would lose a customer to Sherman if it's cheaper, but since most of the welders that are buying a Sherman are "hobby" welders I don't see the point.
Do they think that the hobby welder is now going for the almost triple in price Jasic?
I would go for another type or brand like the "welder fantasy", and so they still lost the customer.
It would be better for Jasic to focus on the professionals, they do have the support and after sales departments if I'm correct.

Exactly... i bought the sherman because it was a nice welder offering lots of features at a good price (which if you search enough you find out that a certain big name welder that retails for 1500 quid, costs about 500 for the retailers to buy in as stock, of course the dealers have to make a profit)
So if i didn't buy the sherman, i was going to be buying a £150 dc only tig from some random chinaman on ebay, made in a sweatshop by 7 year old kids who get paid a bowl of rice a day,
it'd likely blow up once it's a month or 2 old, so outside the return window on ebay, and as there will be no other warranty it'd go in the bin, and my view of tig welding would be that it's crap, and i'd give up and go back to mig welding steel, and bolting / pop riveting alli together.
Where as with the sherman, i'll hopefully really get into tig welding, it'll be a very handy machine to have sitting in the shed ready to use when i break something, or get an idea to mock something up or get into a project and build things like i used to 20 years ago (things like a device that clamped and lifted the front wheel of my motorbike, so it could be towed behind my car on it's rear wheel... i miss those days... and having a stone built garage where weld splatter wasn't such a fire risk)
So if i get into tig welding i'd want to buy accessories of better quality as i go, and who knows, maybe one day i'd be buying the big name brand welders.

I guess anyone still wanting to purchase one could message you on here in private and JasicUk would never know
With brexit transition ending next month Id be very cautious of having one in the post when customs checks are intruduced. Anything shipped after 15th or so might be risky!

And by taking off their webshop for the uk market satisfies the demands of the profittering company that doesn't want us UK people to have reasonably priced good quality tig welders.
So, if you were to fly / drive over to Poland, walk in the Weldes shop and say 'i'm from the uk, i want to buy a nice AC/DC Tig welder for hobby use, and i can't afford to buy one of the big name machines, what can you recommend?'
Can they reply with "how about this nice sherman 206P for ~£500" ??
Or is that not allowed either (same with emailing and phoning them to ask)
What about if a few people had knowledge of this welder, and passed the info around to only members of a 'club' like thing based on the internet?
Or do we all get a knock at the door and open it to this:

Bloomin great tho isn't it, now we're out of the EU this kind of thing will happen more i rekon,
i used to buy so awkward to ship parts from Gernamy (things like drivers seats, driving controls, dashboards etc for my bus and train simulators i was building) and this was 5 years ago, and some people just didnt want to ship to the uk cos its a hassle,
now when we have extra taxes to pay and customs charges, no one will want to deal with the hassle

Weldes.de just put the price up to 929 Euro or 999 Euro for the set with pedal.
Can't deny I'm somewhat pleased with myself for having ordered on Wednesday for half the money.
I didn't even plan on getting the 206P, I had my eye set on the 200AC/DC Multipro, but couldn't say no to the cheaper offer. (Didn't know it is most likely a better quality welder at the time of purchase).

Still don't know if this is the case; if a company can forbid another company to sell an item, is it because it's a copy or a fake? If they are manufactured at the same factory, then Sherman has the same rights to sell I guess.
Or maybe they can forbid Jasic to sell it to expensive.......... Oh, guess that won't count he?
