Saw that earlier while surfing the bay. It should clean up ok, worth a punt if the screw is alright; nice that it does have the removable pipe jaw.
I was fortunate to acquire an early model 74 Auto Vice in un-abused condition and its my favourite bench vice, for now anyway.

Finally, she's all done & dusted, both vice & stand. I'm actually going to use this one too. She had her first use tonight, and in typical fashion, one of the first things that happened was a chunk of cut flesh when I lost concentration and the handle slammed down on my hand.

I've not been up to much, only vices I've bought are the Parkinsons swivel jaw (think I posted that here) and a 2" jaw Swindens that's missing one of each jaw insert.
How's yourself?

I reckon she'll clean up fairly well, should be fun making the replacement jaw inserts.....
The 2" don't turn up very often and seem to go for silly money so I was glad to stumble across this one on youtube.

Postman brung this today he wasn’t as excited is me tho not sure why. Rock island 577 with swivel
It took some cleaning it had so much old grease and the front jaw was peened on but didn’t beat me just need to get the screws sorted and handle ends

Paramo No 43 near identical to the Record No 21 - I have - both have 3"1/4" jaws and quick release.

Acid dipped it - cleaned up with rotary wire brush - coat of International Yacht Toplac paint
