No there is no lettering at all, just that triangle sticker with something written on itIt looks like a Marple's ? Can you see any lettering running vertically down the front jaw ?

Couldn't acquire 12mm bolts, so to save me time and a long drive a friend gave me some 16mm ones. I had to enlarge the mounting holes in the vice and added a steel plate as a riser so that the 4" jaw would clear the edge of the table when rotated, as to mount the base any closer would not allow room for the nuts to clear the support braces underneath the table. I'll fabricate new drawers for the ones missing some time in the future, but all done for now.

Thanks, I appreciate it.
If you happen to find one for sale, check it out as they are very well made.
Millers Falls made good tools.
Their hand and breast drills are excellent. Mine are between 70 and 100 years old and they work like new. They did. Definitely on-par with Stanley, some of their drills were excellent, I have a little rosewood handled one. I also have a keyhole saw I suppose you’d call it in the grey and red enamel, it’s a bit like a ‘futuristic’ pistol grip with eight positions for the blade to be set in. I rarely use it but when I need it… it’s the best!
Thanks for the info, however there is a reason for the bolts: Personal Nostalgia.Invest in a BSF die and buy some BSW bolts with the long shank, cut the thread off and thread the blank part as it’s the right dia. Will be much better than what you’ve got in there.
Thought I'd go with the suggestion of green.Got the vice cleaned up today, along with a couple of other projects. The parts need paint, but not sure about what colour other than blue ?

Here's an unusual one I got recently (it still needs a clean). I think it's an American Stephen's lever vise (there's no makers name on it but i've seen adverts for those that look like it), Patent is from 1860's I think, so it's old ! 3in1 can is for scale.
Also, a very Merry Christmas to all fellow vice (vise) fans.
