good findIt's a wrought iron T bar parallel vice according to a 1935 catalogue .... I think Peter Wright made them at one point

A bit ordinary I know but here is my vice and it's potential replacement. The little vice is the 150mm vice from machine mart.
get more pics later.
plate is for welding so can strike arc without damaging vice.
makers plate missing but cast on one side is made in U.S.A

It's when you do side by sides that you realise just what overall physical size difference there can be between two 6" vices, isn't it. The Record looks to be in tidy condition.
