In the same auction I bought these as a separate lot. 6 legs also labelled Record/Marples.
In a moment of inspiration I put them together & ended up with this.

I've now got a very stable vice stand (plus 3 spare legs). Top is a bit small for a large vice but I can add a steel plate to make it bigger.

What I hadn't noticed when I viewed it was this round thing held on with a wing nut.

Which when removed was a tapered cast iron cone. It also revealed 3 roundish slots.

Also quite easy to take the legs off & make it portable!
Can't find any info online about a TS5 so maybe it wasn't a big seller.
Looks like its mounted over a train wheel ? The extended mounting plate acts nicely as counter balance too...................................was sent a picture of the vice I made on a nice stand.

I take it this is only propped up? There seems to be parts missing, spring and clamp?View attachment 466547
Not mine; it was in one of the buildings at the Museum of the Junkyard Poet: see this thread - https://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/junkyard-poet.139596/
It's in one of the funky shaped buildings in the Junkyard Poet place. I don't think it's intended to be used, just for decoration. There is a workshop on site, but they don't let visitors in there (I did grab a couple of photos through the window but the photo quality wasn't great)I take it this is only propped up? There seems to be parts missing, spring and clamp?
I decided I needed the 6 inch leader and its smaller 3 inch brother View attachment 465206

Best of luck, bit it would be like finding a Polar Bear in the middle of a Desert to acquire one, but then, someone will win the lottery.
