Welcome to vice club. First and only rule is you can not get by with only one!
Yep I agree , have got a 1914 Entwistle steelrack woodwork vice original paint etc , 9 inch jaws 12 ins opening,
Finally sorted that chain and hooks for the taper pin on the Parkinson. A split pin for the pin, and a S hook for the rear jaw, both made of copper wire.
Photo's?
Here's some pics of the internals, the toothed bit is cam operated to engage on the main rack, stamped 9 one sde and entwistle and kenyon the otherFinally sorted that chain and hooks for the taper pin on the Parkinson. Got it for £30 in the end & started cleaning it up this evening. Very happy with it.
I used a course wire brush on a grinder. It had been painted grey over the original green colour so trying to take it back to repaint hopefully.
I like it 'as is', I wouldn't hide that under paint.

Shouldn't be too difficult to make one, it isn't hardened, it may be possible to remove the rack from the fixed part as a pattern it is a fairly simple shape, rough it out with a grinder finish with file and hacksaw etc,let me know if you want more picsI have a Woden in that pattern minus that camlock tooth bit, I need to find one. I have never seen another Woden one but its in the catalogue. The later style of Woden we are much more common
