came home from maternity hospital after being born (and thereby filling the world with sunshine) in our 650 BSA combo. I used to love going on holiday- start before dawn, chilly, warming up as daylight came on.
Loads of "outfits" then as you could go above the 250cc learner limit if you had a third wheel.
You meet up with other trade apprentices at Tech College, plus of course your mates from schooldays, some had gone on to the breweries as apprentice coopers, so we had outfits with barrels, and of course coffins in various sizes( the most popular "chair"), quite a few with just the frame and wheel to comply.
Anyone recall the "Sidewinder" basic third wheel kit, and I think it tilted?
