Looks like some people have some serious kit in their home garages!


This is my 2nd home! (Or 1st home according to the wife!)

It’s had a few additions since these pictures (New doors, Bandsaw, Pillar Drill, 10 ton Press, Big TV & DVD player) and I have extended/converted a double car port into an additional garage which is attached to the front of the existing garage.

But it seem how ever much room you make you always need more! I’ve now taken over the shed with a shot blasting cabinet too. (Again much to the wife’s pleasure when she try’s to get her mountain bike out!)

I’m a bit anal about keeping it clean but I build my engines in there and if you drop a SpriaLok or a bolt it’s nice to be able to find it!

Door handles great for skewering your bolloxs on!

Doing an engine swap for a car club member who was badly ripped off via FleaBay (Bought a so called ‘Mint’ GTO and the engine lasted 30 miles before spinning the bearings!)

If you tidy up too efficiently you end up thinking "hmmm if I move that a bit to the left, and this bit to the right, I could fit another" *insert heavy machine of choice* "in there..."
And fill it up even more.

Im still not sure why I own a hearth AND a blast furnace. Ive never actually used the furnace yet, and what I really should have bought was a refractory pot instead...

fluff your bang on I buy kit then try and work out where to put it, si said how many welding sets do you own well iv counted its 3 migs, 2 inverters, 2 plasma, 4 oil cooled, and 2 tigs, not sure why i draged home 7 ton of capstan lathe iv got know where to put it, but as you say you clear a space then get the tape out, i must stop this ocd habbit of collecting stuff.
