hi,george,good to see another stock car devotee on the forum.

was orc registered about 14yrs ago when i raced 1300 ministox (hednesford,bolton,stoke,buxton,even managed a few trophies lol)
used to watch brisca f1s,but i don`t feel that they`re entertaining anymore(too much money involved now)so go watching bangers now,mostly the unlimiteds. can`t beat a good follow in.
where do you race then?

i done ministox restricted 1000ccs(current ministoxformula) however there still qwik considering tracks raced at :arena essex mildenhall dover eastbourne wimbledon bovingdon swaffham ipswich gt yarmouth taunton birmingham northampton lydden hill

do the 1300 stock cars now, from your name im guessing u follow the pink cars :P they are pretty rated in the unlimiteds. so im not teh only person who has raced on here !! any fans or people that occasionaly go on here?

the minis i did were called `formula ministox` which were for adults,basically it meant the when the kids were too old to compete in `ministox`,they could fit a bigger engine ie 1275,then carry on racing,without the expense of moving into another formula.
do you race at wimbledon,cos the 1300 stock cars are usually on the bill at unlimited wf,(it`s a while off i know,)if i`m there i`ll come and say hi.
should have read `you cant beat a good follow in as long as you`re not the one sat in it`lol: laughing:

yh fink i heard of them go the other way round. not so sightly lol wats rong wif bein followed in ? js gotta love it!!!! normali means ull get them back at some point!!!! erm chances are slim of me doin WF at wimbo as im PRI registered n the promotions get upset racing for with other promoters, far too political 4 my liking. not to mention i dnt like spedeworth as i got banned in minis from there ... ill be at arenas WF tho more than welcome to come say hello n inspect my weldin on the stock car aswell :P

so if you`re pri registered,do you only get to race at arena then,no interpromo meets?
cracking track arena,but when i`ve been it seems to be long drawn out day+when the racing starts around 1 o`clock and you`re leaving at 9 (ish)sort of puts me off when i`ve got all that way to go back home.but i suppose if the pinks are going then i`ll have to think about it.
ps any more news on the alleged closure??

dunno wen uve bin n its lasted til 9 coz i wernt there!!!! onli meetins that start at 1 are firecracker and festival of speed and never get close 2 9 i wish it wud ... wud be more value for money currently fings kick off at 2 and finish between 5-6 all a bit dependent on wats on, aint closin dwn yet no worries yet... yh inter promotional fingy is a bugger in stock cars but i dnt plan on doin em forever... js summit to keep me goin, get used to locked diff up front, more power, lots of bashin around etc arenas 20 minutes away for me dwn the a13 so im there every sunday n visit other tracks wen theres gd stuff on like 2nite at mildenhall ... unlimited bangers n ministox suffolk open got 3rd n 4th in that 05 06 respectively :P

it is the firecracker meets i`ve been to,the 2005 meet rained all day,walked out of stadium about 8.45,then you gotta get off the car park!
the last civil war there was around same finish time(we did win that one though)
may do the 19 aug meet (if i get the mon off work) as i`m in london for a wedding on the 18th,no unlimiteds though .
are there any plans for a replacment track when/if it does close?

the track isnt ment to be goin anywhere so no replacement has been considered yet. js thurrock council want better use of the many acres of land that arent used ... hence threaten to take the track away
ahh u cant add wetness into the equation wen it rains all day u js gotta keep ya chin up ESPECIALLY in middle on november lool

y not take the kids?? or dump em off with nan grandad or equivilents.
racin comes 1st for mee i cant have burdens like kids ha ha spose as im 16 a kid isnt reali a option :P lol i spose i could sell it to pay 4 me new welder ey ? ha ha

tried the dump the kids thing,did`nt work!
resigned myself to not going now,bit late to set off now anyway,would be pushing it to get there on time.may do hednesford tommorow instead(will see what the boss says when she comes home from work)

surely it cant take 4 hours 45 mins 2 get there ? if so i think id be moving home ! lol god knows how long it is for u to get to arena lol yh i like hednesford js its 144 miles away ... one of teh few tracks i never got to race at lol

by the time i`ve fuelled the car,picked brother up,found babysitter etc,would be struggling for time,especially as i`ve not been to mildo before so would have to find it.
it`s been turned 2.30 am when i`ve got home from arena before now,similar for wimbo.cowdenbeath about the same but at least it`s on sat night!

no,belle vue is my local,but don`t go there much as they don`t get very good car turnouts,don`t mind traveling,will go anywhere,just poor planning stopping me going today.standlake is on next week,should be a big turnout

oo i see i dnt liek it there much ... bit P*K£Y for me... go there 4 the HMC tho now thats a DRAG!! 12 start bin standin there at 8 30 !!!!!!! was on my bday aswell got soaked as normal 4 that meeting bit of mission there aswell, tend 2 find dad driving back while i hit them zzzzz zzzz zzzzz lol

This is very interesting, i do enjoy having a nosy LOL.. well i will take a few pics of my lil workshop, it only 8 x 16 feet and i just can get in the door
