Sounds good enough to me!I'm intending to build something very similar to this, I'm thinking 2.5mm thick 30mm box. Do you think that's overkill and should go thinner? Aim for the table surfaces to be 80mm wide x 3mm thick slats (with gaps between for clamps)

But good for preheating those larger, stubborn, projects.The good thing about them, is they prevent gravity sucking us all the the molten core of the Earth , where it's too hot for welding or brazing.
