No there is no lip it slides in from the back.

Fit a nice seal round it. A pinch/grip trim round it would tidy it right up.

Thought you ordered some pickling paste. It will corrode again. There are still oxides present.

Finding it hard to get anything done these days. I'd like to get the cooler off the floor, even if its secured to a bit of wood.
I thought the electric metal shears would be handy for cutting the plate but it ends up curling it a lot.
Here is my idea for securing the tank.

Don't tell the wife she thinks i've been fixing the water tank in the garage but...
Although i have no time for my projects at the moment i need the welder running as there are a few little welding jobs here and there but with the tig cooler in pieces i can do nothing.
Decided to put it together as quickly as possible without spending any more money. Had to modify the design slightly as i could not fit it all in (the sheet at the right of the motor was supposed to be on the left of the motor separating it from the tank etc).
Rad, tank and motor secured.
I want to twist the motor as i don't like where the power cable is any reason why i cant twist it? (vents are at the bottom).

It has a bump (could just be a blob of paint) that limits the movement i can twist past it with a bit of help from a screw driver.

It may have been painted over will have a look tomorrow.
I had to do away with the plastic box for the electrical bits so the power supply and relay will be secured to the sheet at the back. The motor is earthed should i add another where the power enters the case?

Yes no question.
Your motor should be earthed on the case and your metal Chassis should be earthed too. Even if it wasn't containing water you should always earth to the cases. If a wire breaks and touches the case you want it to be earthed before you put your hand on it.

You must wash it off after use and scotch brite will sort it out nicely. Don't worry about it as it's designed to be on the metal.Oh and i used the pickling paste today. Made a right mess with that slapped it on the welds went for a vape break it cleaned the welds up but ran down a stained other parts of the metal.
