Single phase pulse mig

I recently brought the fusion mp200 from inverter fusion its a rebranded helvi tp220 paid £1350 for the machine and upgraded the mig and tig torch to a binzel package for extra £100, I can’t knock it I was going for the rebel but this has a four roll wire feed unit and pulse function with full tig settings and gas valve for the tig just no hf tig, speak to a guy called dale he sorted me out I could have had more money off if I took the thermacut plasma 30 for £750 but I ain’t made of money. It’s on there website for around £1800 just give them a call

Ifl are importing the helvi now are they? Interesting. I'll call them up.

Yer the rebranded machine is cheaper than the helvi by a couple hundred but exactly the same machine a 3year warranty And they are a helvi repair centre so no worries.

Found a vid on youtube of the Helvi doing various materials and it did sound quite good when doing Alu in pulse and results looked decent.

I've been looking at Helvi too but have never heard anything about them.

Was tempted to buy a Parweld DP231c recently but got suspicious. New unboxed for 1400, retail are more than double plus VAT (25%).

I think Parweld dropped their line of synergic pulse Migs a few years ago, certainly don't see them mentioned in their catalogue I have, think 2017.
I am not sure why they would drop them (if they have) but maybe too many issues with them?

That particular machine was a rebranded Fimer, Italian made. Not sure but I believe someone else now imports and sell under the original brand in UK.

Look at their website, a new machine looking very similar to the Rebel, no pulse as I understand though.

Yep, the new machine doesn't have pulse. Looks like it came from the same factory as the harbour freight vulcan multiprocess machine.

That Paton is a very reliable device I've got one for myself recently. It comes with a Abicor Binzel mig torch as standard. I've asked a seller about the warranty they provide and it is really 5 years

Interesting..... They seem like a fairly small, engineer led company making stuff in small volume. I'm drawn to the design as i I like separate wire feeders and the pulse goes to a sensible frequency. Did you buy yours from the polish seller on eBay?

I ordered and received today a multiprocess power source from the polish distributor of the Paton brand welders, these are made by a small team in Ukraine.

Does pulse on all 3 processes, up to 500Hz with full manual control of all settings... That'll take some dialling in

Nicely assembled, electronics look decent, it's light as a feather and packs a serious punch on stick. Need to hook it up to my mini suitcase feeder and run some tests on Ali and CuSi3 next.

£349 delivered... Comes in a pelican case with a nice pair of stick leads, a decent earth clamp and stinger, and it doesn't smell of Chinese coal rubber...

I dealt with Patryk from Pemat, purchased through ebay. Paton appear to have many distributors across poland, and they also sell directly in the country, I think.

I have a home made suitcase feeder that takes 5kg spools, has a 4 roll feeder but will also power and control my spool gun. I need to modify it to run off 24v Dc directly off the Paton power source.
