I hope to make mine a positive pressure booth (clean air being blown in)
So I’ll have two fans plus ducting for the space heater and maybe a fan for the outlet
Any leaks will blow out so dust getting in shouldn’t be a problem
This is what i was planning on doing - any thoughts anyone
....also your outlet has to be higher than your roof and also any houses within twenty yards or so it must be higher than the apex of their roof...these regs are for car body shops so can be different to your job but i be honest anything to do with v.o.c and they are getting real tough now sobe careful
I'll add another contribution to the spray booth subject. The local fab shops to me spray outside, under cover. No vent issues at all, plus no residential neighbours to worry about, and the council don't seem to mind at all. It's all zinc red oxide though. They don't finish paint.
Same as me and oxide does not seem to produce much over spray... I dont do paint.
unless you use hvlp sprayguns as i do 40% of your paint will be overspray......i think hvlp is around 15-20 %
Hvlp...Is that like a roller,..........I let someone else do my spraying as mines crap, Cant stand painting

is it correct that hvlp sprayguns are better for a non professional sprayer ? ie: will give a better finish ?
ps: here is something i just found on spraybooths and their regulations
