In saying that , Mark Taylor built a quick f2 on leaves in the 90s that was very competitive against the coil sprung cars.[/QUOTE mine was a shale car on leafsprings but I only raced on tarmac it went well . got reported one year because some prat said I was running a dodgy engine because I was beating a fair few folk I built the engine myself and had it dyno tuned it was only 8 horse power behind a professionally built race engine and quarter of the cost they took the head off and measured the bores nothing out of spec just a bit of jealousy some folk cant stand loosing
If I must be honest I don't know?I could almost feel the bumpers banging in my chest
Out of interest how much have the lap times come down from then to now
