I'm not going anywhere just yet , I just meant it's on to get the car Finished, engine is almost complete, maybe i will get the car on the Dyno at the end of next week.
Then some setup and testing with a hope to get out for September.

I wasn't aware that Radway were kicking people out, that's not good news.
The only thing I could suggest is have some plans drawn up and submit them to planning , mine went quite smoothly really, the building control was a little more involved but then I didn't know what to expect.
If I can help in anyway just give me a shout

These are a budget formula and run a tuned 850cc reliant engine.

Please don't tell me you use the reliant gearbox.

We do but its behind the reliant engine so not so much of a problem .

The LIege trials car were all reliant but the gearboxes were a constant pain so most competing owners changed to Suzuki 413 box's and then to Swift 3 cylinder engines . (993cc) some graduated on to superchargers. All good fun.

We don't subject the transmission to the same punishment, we have a rolling lap to start and once in (race ) gear we don't change.
The only problem I've had is hitting the wall where I've had the selector shafts coming through the front of the box and on another occasion I smashed the gearbox off the bell housing.
